The city of Parkland hosts a number of family-friendly special events for its residents every month. Eat & Beats, Movies in the Park, Family Fun Fest, and Drive-In Movie are some of the standard events put on by the city. Enjoy some live music and delicious food at Eat & Beats which takes place at the Amphitheatre at Pine Trails Park. Movies in the Park shows family friendly movies at Pine Trails Park or you can swing by the Drive in Movie which takes place at the Parkland Equestrian Center. The Parkland Family Fun Fest happens one weekend every year and features carnival rides, games, food, music, and more all at Pine Trails Park. The city also hosts a variety of holiday events as well. Parkland Senior Activities 

One of the best aspects of Parkland is that there is something here for everyone. The city of Parkland takes pride in the activities they offer for people of all ages. Part of these activities is classes and trips specifically for Seniors living in Parkland. These events are free for anyone who is at least 62 years of age and has proof of residency. Some previous trips have been to sporting events, museums, and theaters which usually require some walking which is perfect for those Seniors looking to stay active.
